1000 Books Before Kindergarten
This program is open to CLPL cardholders ages birth-kindergarten. Families keep track of how many books they read on our special reading logs. After every 200 books, come into the library to claim your prize. The deadline to complete the program is when your child enters kindergarten.

- 200 Books – Take a photo with our mascot, Waffles. We’ll display the photo in our digital picture frame.

- 400 Books – Ring our library gong, and everyone will clap!

- 600 Books – Choose a special owl, put your name on it, and hang it on our tree.

- 800 Books – Get a tour of circulation and check out your own books behind the big desk. You also get a new tote bag to carry your library books home!

- 1000 Books – Get a special picture taken with our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten frame and receive a T-shirt! You will also be invited to our annual graduation party in August!
